A few more glimpses of England before we go...

The world famous Harrod's decked out in holiday finery... The colorful buildings and double-decker buses...
Bakery windows you'd love to press your nose against...
Leaves still turning and flowers still in bloom...
...and Speaker's Corner, where anyone is welcome to stand on their own chair or ladder and say anything they bloody well please!
Lots to love.
Loads to miss.

Hi Patts:
Looks like Speakers Corner wasn't too busy when you went there. It's SRO on a good day.
We're all looking forward to your return, probably even more than you are. It's gonna be tough, especially for the kids, to disconnect from all the friends you've made. But then you've all got lots of friends here who'll be happy to see you and rebuild relationships that were torn asunder when you moved. (I'm being a little too dramatic here.)
What a wonderful experience it's been, and that will be all the more apparent when you get back and have a chance to reflect on it all.

In the meantime, keep blogging!

Actually, there were a few other speakers but I liked the photo of this guy best!
Yes, it will be bittersweet to leave - exciting to get home to all our friends and family there yet sad to leave our new friends here. Hopefully, some of them will come to see us (and stay at the famous Chez Patt!) and continue the friendships onward.
I'm crossing my fingers!
