with the AMAZING "Speedy Space Maker Compression Bag". (Think giant zip-lock baggie) It can turn a twin-sized down comfortor into a something that would fit in a shirt box. Thank GOODNESS. Two thumbs up from this packing goddess.

As a packer for a college bound child where does one find this bag? Is it the new ones put out by Hefty? And for other packers who aren't going quite as far as you....you can turn a heavy garbage bag into a shrink wrap wonder. JUst put your kids clothes or blankets, etc inside. Gather the opening and stick your portable vacuum nozzle inside. Turn it on and watch your stuff get squeezed up like Market Day chicken breasts! It does come apart a little but it works enough to make things a bit smaller to get inside a car top carrier or the trunk.
